I know people who have. They are good for a while, then you got to toss them back to the old country when you’re done with them.
It’s really not so unusual when you think about, most countries have arranged marriages, and you’re both getting something out of it, she’s getting to come to live in the US, and you’re getting sex, which you probably can’t get on your own or you wouldn’t be looking at those sites. But seriously, just use them then ship them back.
Slavery was abolished when Lincoln was president. You don’t buy people for marriage.
50% scam, 20% convince Americans to go over seas then bilk them of their money. The rest are probably ‘honest’ but buyer beware.
If I were you, I would be careful but be sure to find reputable sites as there are probably many out there. I would find non biased user forums about this topic, then find the sites they use/recommend then if you are totally committed to finding a mail order bride, then hey don’t let me stop you.
BUT, are you really that desperate. If you are, you have to ask yourself if you think that Russian bride will stay with you or will she dump you after she becomes a citizen and go running off with a good looking rich American?
Try local singles first. If you don’t like the woman you are dating because they are too rough or too liberal, then try a church group. Not a Christian holy roller church, a ‘normal’ one.
Like anyone else take a chance. My cousin married one. She had a 3 yr old son who is now 19 and who my cousin adopted when he married her. She is sweet, lovely, devoted, and crazy about him. Take a chance.
