Are dating emails from Russian girls fake?

I recently put my profile on a dating site for life partner and I started receiving emails from various cities of Russia. These girls seem to be genuine nice girls but they are writing so long emails every time and keep on sending their pictures.
I recently put my profile on a dating site for life partner and I started receiving emails from various cities of Russia. These girls seem to be genuine nice girls but they are writing so long emails every time and keep on sending their pictures.
What is their interest? What is going on? I am in Canada. All of them sent me their so many pictures without asking, generally girls don’t do that! They are telling me their family stories and asking the same.
Someone wrote that they mentioned USA (as if they are in USA) in their profile because Russia is not not on the list.
Am I a victim? Is this fraud going on with me?

but from my own personal experience with emails from russian girls
i will tell you signs to watch out for
if you get talking to girl and say after two weeks or a month perhaps
if she starts sayiing id love to be with you but i dont have the money to leave and get a place, and asks for money or credit card details, or bank numbers ,
if you get asked for any of those stop contact straight away only a money making scam
some will be genuine some wont be
but keep an eye for those signs i mentioned

Very common fraud!! Google it, it happens all the time. I get emails from them to my work email account as well… like I want a russian girlfriend… I AM A GIRL!!
Notice how all the girls are pretty and young and just want love? It’s a con. Probably to get guys hooked then try to arrange a ‘visit’ but lo and behold… they cant afford a flight cos their monther/auntie/dog is sick and they need all the money they can get so will you ‘loan’ them the money? (You see where this is going?)

i have over 2 years experiance of dating sites. first let me suggest get a cam and whomever you chatt with insist they do also.i learned quickly how to tell if they are scammers from experiance. never never send money for any reason regardless of how genuine they seem. to answer you i found most hot African girls ,specifically ghana and nigeria that usally do this work or thievery full time.personally i found and caught about 300 from these countrys and have them removed from the site but to no avail as they just repost their same profile, same picture, with a different address. now for the russians, i assure you they are the most shrewdest thieves and what you are recieving is mostly what is called a prescripted email already mailed that can apply to anyone and soon they will talk about coming to see you and get a visa but all of a sudden ran out of money and now need your help. they are the sneakiest next to the africans that also use stolen pictures from model magizines, porn sites and so on.they can fake ids like passports like you can buy a ice cream.after all my experiances i found the site cherryblossoms.com to be great and suggest strongly to log on to the chinese. they i found to be the most honest and genuine as well as china is very cheap to visit and stay but insist first that if you do that they speak english and do not use a translator as things said are taken out of context.
You are most likely being contacted by scammers there. That said; not all Russian women are scammers. There are many men on the forum below who are Canuks married to Russian girls.
If a Russian woman is a road you want to consider travelling down, then you must educate yourself completely on the subject matter before proceeding.
You are not a victim.
There are too many African mail order brides in Russia and they want to have a good family. Most of russian people suppose foreigners (Canada, USA, Western Europe, Australia) to be well off. That is why you have a lot of emails, and girls don’t ask who are you. They’ll ask you later when they’ll have understood that you are not a prince. It is a problem.
And of course sites want to make you pay as much as it possible.

Believe it or not there are genuine ones, but the subscriber fee is quite expensive I must say.
